We’re Obsessed With: Music Art
Well, it’s no secret that I love music. I guess I could be more specific, but that list would probably drive you crazy. I love this new music art from Bug House that was featured on Unplggd today. I especially love the cassette tape art (see below), since my dad had quite the collection when I was growing up. The vinyls were all in the garage getting warped (I’m still angry at him for this).
They have records too:
Here is a picture of my desk in the office so you can see that I practice what I preach:

Alicia Keys in Grand Prarie on 4/2

Alicia Keys is coming to Dallas next month
Alicia Keys is stopping at the Nokia Therate in Grand Prarie, TX to make the world a little more beautiful with her music. Tickets are still available on Ticketmaster (even in the seated area; not just the lawn). If you’re not positive what Alicia Keys sings, I will refrain from making fun of you and just show you a couple of videos:
Jack’s Mannequin to Play HOB in Dallas

On February 17th, the House of Blues in Dallas will be taken over by Jack’s Mannequin who is also the lead singer in the band Something Corporate. I am a huge promoter of Jack’s Mannequin. His first CD, Everything in Transit, is a mixture of pop melodies with transcendental lyrics. Download or YouTube “Dark Blue,” “MFEO: Made for Each Other” and “Holiday From Real” to get an idea. You can buy tickets on Ticketmaster starting at $23!
