the Soup Mecca of Atlanta

Souper Jenny, located at 56 East Andrews Blvd. in Buckhead, is already kind of famous for its delicious soups, sandwiches and more, but we felt the need to blog about it anyway.  The experience was damn-near life changing and we want everyone to go there!  When you walk in, it’s kind of a high-pressure situation.  Since the menu is ever-changing, you have to decide what you want pretty quickly (there’s always a decent line at noon).  Believe me when I tell you- you can’t make a wrong decision.  All of the soups are delicious (usually there are six options), the sandwiches (usually two options) have a perfect blend of texture and taste and the sides are always fresh.  It’s got a cafeteria feel.  Everything is made that morning and ready to put on your plate or in your bowl.  Then you can have a seat (if you can find one) in the cozy and fun dining area and eat ’til your heart’s content.. oh, and get a cookie too.  Delicious.  Also, did I mention it was affordable?  I got cup of soup, a whole sandwich, cookie and a drink for $12.
