Buckhead Find: Contemporary Accent Chairs
These two chairs are totally fun and funky. I really love the look of them and think that would be great reupholstered as well. They are from a pet, kid and smoke free home and $125 each. You can call Ruth at (404) 863-0890 if you’re interested!

Step Inside: Mad Men

Mad Men is oh-so-hot right now and it has made me scavenge like crazy for mid-century modern pieces that I can live with and love. I love the look of this credenza and it can add ample storage opportunities, perhaps even for Canadian Rye. The vintage mirror ombre high ball glasses are a great find for a great price on Etsy. The perfectly simple dress was found at ModCloth; it’s really an updated Betty Draper silhouette. With the addition of a skinny gold belt, big bangle and a perfect coif, it could really turn heads. The men’s hat is a simple grey fedora that makes a man instantly chic. The brooch was designed with Joan Halloway in mind, also from Etsy. This sofa and loveseat combo is actually a great rust color and reminds me of the chairs in Don’s office. Enjoy Mad Men-ers!
3 Fabulous Decor Tips From Real Simple
This month’s REAL SIMPLE magazine simply bowled me over. First of all, I absolutely loved the 50s & 60s inspired clothing feature entitled “Portrait of a Lady.” It might have something to do with my obsession with Mad Men fashion, but that’s just one thing! Here are three great ideas for hanging art in your apartment that can add interest to any blank wall!
1) Fill space with colorful framed fabric. The image below is actually from House and Home, but I thought it was a great idea to cut up this fabric and frame it. It kind of looks like pieces from your old hippie tapestry that hung in your college dorm! And you thought you’d never use that thing again!

2) Hang a tight-knit row of family pictures. I think it’s important to note that they only used three kinds of frames (going too frame crazy might be distracting) with neutral colors. It’s also on a wall that has a piece of furniture to frame. The silhouettes are fabulous, don’t you think?

3) Hang a flowy textile above beds without headboards. This idea is great and I love how it becomes the focal point, much like a piece of art would; not to mention that it’s a cheap solution to blank wall blues!

Buckhead Hot Spot: Early Street Antique Market
I recently ran into Early Street Antiques on E. Andrews in Buckhead and found some awesome deals. Carly favored the classic blue and white color scheme and I just loved the vintage french items. Early Street Antique Market rents space to different venders, so there is always something new and fresh. They have things to accommodate all tastes. Here are some of our favorite spaces.
