Design Trend: Framed Collages Over Sofas

This trend has been going on for quite some time, but I thought it would be cool to showcase the different ways you can do it.  Some people choose multi-colored frames and pieces with no real corrleation, some people use same-colored frames or no size variance.  Others spread the goods throughout the entire expanse of the wall.  Which of these do you like best?

For Halloween: BLACK Walls

When you think of wonderful interior design, you might not think of walls painted black.  In fact, that sounds pretty creepy.  Here are a few examples of black walls done right (at least according to me).  It’s possible to incorporate black into a lot of different styles, though at first people might think you’re crazy.  It’s all about white or colorful accents and lots of natural light.

Half-Bath Design

Half-baths are kind of strange to decorate.  Mine ended up being kind of boring.  I went to Lowe’s and picked up lots of paint chips, thinking that I would eventually come up with something to do with them.  I saw this pic on OhDeeOh and thought it was great:

… but I thought it also a little intense for such a small space.  Plus, my paint chips were much smaller.  So this is what I came up with:

I like that it sort of looks like pixels from afar.  What do you guys think?!  Cheap.  Easy.  Quick.
