Happy Veterans Day APTdwellers! Here are three things you can do TODAY to show your gratitude to our current military and veterans:
USO, Thanks from Everywhere Campaign. Sign your name and write a note to the troops.
VFW, Return the Favor Campaign. Write a note or upload a thank you video to the troops.
Wish For Our Heroes. You can submit a military family that has fallen on hard times or donate money to grant a wish to a military family.
All welcome donations as well.

Shecky’s hosts an annual Girls Night Out in Midtown for women who want to do 5 hours of fabulous shopping with free drinks. Currently, the Shecky’s website is offering 15% off the ticket price, but this Groupon is offering them for just $12 each. You may buy multiple tickets as gifts for friends, too. You will be able to choose from two dates and you’ll get a goodie bag filled with products from The Body Shop, SoftLips, Lindt chocolates, Jergens and more.
Girls Night Out will be at the beautiful Biltmore Ballrooms, located at 817 W Peachtree St. NW in Midtown, on November 16th and 17th.

Senses Fail & Bayside at Masquerade in Atlanta

Masquerade, located at 695 North Ave. NE in Atlanta, is playing host to an awesome punk show next Friday, November 19th. Senses Fail, fresh off their new album release, and Bayside will be performing beginning at 7pm for just $18 a ticket. Gotta love this genre of music for the cheap tickets alone. If you haven’t heard of either, but you like Silverstein, Rise Against or The Used, you will probably enjoy it. Bayside’s acoustic CD is my favorite, but here is a great Senses Fail song called “Family Tradition” to give you an idea:
More Than Tea at Tea Fuse in Vinings

We ventured out to Tea Fuse in Vinings a few months ago before its grand opening and were so impressed. We feel we were remiss in informing Atlanta about this local spot for food as well. Though they have over 50 flavors of tea and can blend and brew them pretty much any way you like, they also have a menu of delicious treats and feature organic baked goods by Bella’s Best.
