Atlanta is #7 Most Visited City
leave a commentAtlanta is the 7th most visited city in the United States, according to Forbes, drawing in 35.4 million visitors a year. The ATL beat out San Diego, Houston and Philadelphia! Because of its substantial meetings and convention industry, Atlanta draws in millions of international visitors a year, many of which are on business. However, attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, CNN and The World of Coke also probably have a stronghold in the visitation numbers as well.

This jerker desk (shown above) is being sold in great condition for just $75 by a friendly soul in Decatur. The seller is also offering to deliver it if you’re in the local area. Gee, thanks! If you want this beauty, check out the full Craigslist post. If you think you want something similar but not exactly this, I also love this desk at IKEA Atlanta right now as well: the Johan desk for $119.
Georgia Renaissance Festival 2010
leave a commentThere are only three more weekends to enjoy Georgia’s Renaissance Festival this year, as it only runs until June 6th. It’s great for family fun and to truly escape. It’s nerdy, the food is delicious and people swallow swords- basically, it’s a no-brainer. This weekend they are also running a special: all individual food items are $5 or less.
