Get Motivated This Weekend
leave a commentThe long weekend is approaching (even a five-day weekend for some of you lucky people) and it seems like a perfect time to relax. But I think, instead, I’m going to use this opportunity to get crackin’ on some projects that I have been neglecting. Last night I cleaned out my car. If you think this is a “no big deal” task, you might be underestimating my car’s condition. Imagine a universe with various shoes, receipts, french fries, pens and clothes strewn everywhere. My boyfriend got in my car two months ago and complained about there being a coffee spill on the window sill (how that happens, I still don’t know). Well, I just got it off yesterday. To make a long story short, it motivated me to start cleaning out more things. Next is the garage. Since I caught up on yard work last weekend, I might also be cleaning out the closets… yes, all of them. What are you going to do this weekend?

Atlanta Classics Bar Tour in Virginia Highlands

Beginning at 1pm at Atkins Park Tavern in Virginia Highlands, you can take a tour of some of Atlanta’s most historic bars. Most of the bars were opened before 1970. It will go to 6pm on May 29th. Some of the sites will include George’s Restaurant and Bar, Limerick Junction, Manuel’s Tavern and Moe’s & Joe’s. You can purchase tickets online or at the door of Atkins Park. Miller High Life and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society are hosting the shindig.
