The Gig: I love finding fresh ideas and putting my own unique spin on them, DIY projects and surprising myself with what comes out.

Hometown(s): I hail from South Texas but went to Northern Virginia and South Carolina for school. I don't feel like I'm from one particular place, but find pieces of myself everywhere I go.

Personal Style: If I had to classify my style, I would say that it's Modern Classic. I like dark woods, lots of paint colors on the walls and antiques. I frequent the Salvation Army and peruse Craigslist on a daily basis looking for glorious finds for your (and sometimes my) pad.

Interests: I think it's charming that I correct people's grammar mistakes. That is not the general consensus. I love traveling, photography, poetry, the Romantics, the Impressionists, music, Family Guy and burritos. Any of these in combination is ideal.

Inspirations: Going green, the colors of India, Southern California's air, Italy's architecture, old photographs and functionality.
