If you’re looking for another way to contribute to helping the people of Haiti, you can check out Toulouse in Midtown Atlanta next Tuesday, February 9th (reservation required).  The restaurant and artist Steve Penley are teaming up to bring a little culture into your lives with a book-signing beginning at 6:30pm followed by a five-course meal at 7:15pm.  Steve Penley’s artwork will be on sale at Toulouse and a portion of the proceeds will go to the ServeHAITI Foundation.

Everything Midtown Atlanta tells us that the menu will be “field green salad with red wine vinaigrette; seared scallops served with broccoli and sundried tomatoes in a rosemary-citrus reduction; wild mushroom ravioli atop arugula sprinkled with gorgonzola cheese, cranberries and pistachios drizzled with a white balsamic sauce; beef tenderloin filet with mushroom cream sauce coupled with grilled salmon in a balsamic beurre blanc; and Robert’s flourless chocolate cake with chocolate glaze for dessert.”  The price is $125 a setting and that includes tip.  Reservations can be made by calling (404) 351-9533.
