Next Saturday, May 1st, Belk will be hosting their Spring Charity Sale from 6-10am at all of their Atlanta locations.  Here is the scoop, courtesy of Atlanta Buzz:

Belk’s Charity Sale on May 1 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. will benefit local charities, schools and nonprofit organizations. In exchange for a $5 donation, customers will be entitled to merchandise discounts ranging from 20 to 70 percent off throughout the store. Customers will also receive $5 off their first purchase of $5 or more, and Belk cardholders will receive double Rewards points (Belk Elite cardholders receive triple Rewards points) for card purchases. The first 100 customers in each store will receive Belk gift cards ranging in value from $5 to $100, and a chance to win one of three $1,000 Belk gift cards. Participating charities are currently selling tickets and proceeds from each $5 ticket will be retained by the charity. Beginning April 23, tickets may also be purchased at Belk stores with all in-store ticket sales being divided among participating charities and schools in each location.
