This well constructed sideboard actually looks like a great buy! You could update this older looking piece with a fresh coat of paint and some new hardware in a snap. It could be interesting to paint it a really fun color (green? yellow? turoquoise?) and then paint the accent and piping white to give it a little depth and interest.
